28 Delicious and Easy Hamentaschen

2 cups Extra White Gold all purpose cup to cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2  large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Filling:
Strawberry jam
Hazelnut spread
chocolate chips
Egg wash

Powdered sugar


Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar and egg, and vanilla until nice consistency.
  2. Blend flour and baking powder with the egg mixture.
  3. Form a dough. Cover and refrigerate for half- one hour.
  4. Roll out the dough on a gluten free floured surface.
  5. Make round circles using a cookie cutter.
  6. Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
  7. Add filling in the middle of the circle. Tight the ends of the dough to create a rectangle. Refrigerate for 20 min (the dough needs to be cold).
  8. Brush with an egg wash. Bake for 10-17 minutes.
  9. Before serving, dust with sugar powder.
