28 Delicious and Easy Hamentachen

2 cups Extra White Gold All purpose cup to cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 stick +1 TBSP unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar 
1 TBSP Powdered sugar
1 large egg
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling:
Strawberry jam
Hazelnut spread
chocolate chips
Egg wash

Powdered sugar


Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar , powdered sugar, egg, yolk and vanilla until smooth consistency.
  2. Blend flour and baking powder with the egg mixture.
  3. Form a dough. Cover and refrigerate for half an hour.
  4. Roll out the dough on a gluten free floured surface.
  5. Make round circles using a cookie cutter.
  6. Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
  7. Add filling in the middle of the circle. Pinch the ends of the dough to create a triangle. Refrigerate for 10 min ( optional).
  8.  Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
  9. Before serving, dust with sugar powder.
