Classic Gluten Free Cherry Buttery Blossoms
They are soft and chewy buttery cookies with a sugary top and finished with a cherry!
They are perfect go to cookie for your next gathering.

Ingredients: (12 cookies)

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter ,softened
1/4  cup powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. Egg (1/2 an egg)
1 teaspoon almond or extract
1 1/4  cups Extra White Gold gluten-free all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
green, red sugar topping
12-14 green cherries


1. Preheat the oven to 350 deg F. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined
2. Gradually add salt and flour to the butter mixture, blend until you reach to a nice dough consistency. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Prepare small dish with the sugar toppings. 
3. Shape dough into 1- inch balls; dip and press the ball in the sugar topping. Place a cherry on each cookie, pressing down gently.
4. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, until golden. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
