Granny Fran's Homemade Vegan Apple Pie
This pie crust is flaky and delicious. This recipe doesn't have shortening!

For the pie crust you’ll need:
2 cups Extra White Gold gluten free all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup coconut oil( cold)
3-6 Tbsp. ice cold water

Filling
2 cans(1LB) apple filling

1 cup almond slices

How to make?
  • Make the crust (Use the food processor if you have one). Chill the dough for 20 minutes.
  • Drape the rolled dough over a 9 inch pie pan, spread the filling.
  • Bake at 350 deg. F oven for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve with powdered sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
